Vertici helps manufacturers move from paper rounds and clipboards to connected worker systems, and pairs every rollout with the culture work that makes adoption stick.
The software usually works. What breaks down is everything around it: knowledge gaps between shifts, silos between IT and operations, and frontline teams who were never asked what they needed.
When operators see a new tablet as surveillance or extra paperwork, adoption quietly fails, and the pilot never scales.
Every rollout starts on the floor, with the people who do the work.
Our approach
Technology and culture, handled together.
We combine hands-on IT and connected worker experience with applied anthropology, so the system you deploy fits the way your people really work.
The technology
Connected worker strategy
Digitizing rounds, inspections, and work instructions
Platform selection and pilot design
Links to maintenance, data historians, and machine vision
A long-term roadmap toward Industry 4.0 and 5.0
The people
Workplace anthropology
Frontline field research before anything is deployed
Surfacing hidden stigmas and resistance early
Training and knowledge transfer that fits each shift
Adoption and engagement measured, not assumed
Services
Where we can help, from first study to full rollout.
Each engagement starts with a one-hour consultation to understand your site, your team, and your goals.
Before rollout
Organizational Field Study
For teams planning a connected worker program who want to know what the floor really needs.
On-site observation and interviews across shifts
Map of workflows, pain points, and informal knowledge
Inside a large manufacturer, Jeremy was asked to digitize a handful of paper rounds so frontline data would be easier to use. That small project turned out to touch everything on the shop floor: communication, data analysis, training, knowledge transfer, maintenance tracking, and above all, employee engagement.
He partnered early with Augmentir, back when “connected worker” wasn't yet an industry term. Rolling out a transformation program from inside the IT silo was hard. Jeremy had one unexpected advantage: he'd married a cultural anthropologist. Jessica joined as a consultant and worked from the frontline up, uncovering hidden stigmas and starting the conversations that drove adoption.
Technology alone doesn't drive transformation. People do.
Vertici exists to bring that lesson to other manufacturers: make work smarter, more engaging, and more human, with happier employees and stronger results to show for it.

Jeremy Bauer
Connected Work Strategist
Jeremy builds connected worker programs that move organizations toward Industry 4.0 and 5.0. He has helped shape the vision for connected worker programs, machine vision systems, and data historians, and he favors long-term vision over short-term gains.
JB
Jessica Bauer
Workplace Anthropologist
Jess brings cultural insight and data together to tackle the human hurdles that come with digitization. She studies how teams actually work and helps them take ownership of the change.
